NEX20x is a series of full-featured PID controllers manufactured by Radix. They are used in a host of industrial control applications for temperature, pressure, level, flow, humidity and other parameters. Ethernet and Datalogging featured NEX205 is housed in a ¼ DIN plastic enclosure measuring only 96x96x60. The UL94V-0 ABS plastic enclosure has a rating of IP66 (IEC) / NEMA 4X. This PID controller is CE certified and carries a 3-year warranty.

NEX205 features single or dual loop PID control, and has a temperature vs time 16-step profile.It has two universal inputs, each of which can be thermocouple (B,E,J,K,N,R,S,T), RTD (Pt100), 4-20mA or 0-10V and also available in three digital inputs. This PID controller with Ethernet and Datalogging has two, isolated analog outputs (0/4-20mA or 0-10V) and 4 relays which can be used for control or alarms. Bumpless Auto/Manual control is provided.

The PID controller with Ethernet and Datalogging features three power supply options 18~42 VDC; 85~265 VAC, 50/60 Hz and POE. Communication is executed with the Ethernet interface through inbuilt POE port and the supported Ethernet protocols are MODBUS TCP, FTP, HTTP, UDP. In NEX205 Datalogging feature is available with upto 1 min storage interval and can store up to 5 years data.

Additional features of NEX205 include: soft start; user friendly keyboard interface with password protection; guaranteed back-up against Ethernet / SCADA / computer failures; and data is in CSV format and easy to understand.

This PID controller with Ethernet and Datalogging features large LED displays for Process Variable (25.4mm/1”) and Setpoint (14.2mm/0.56”), and has backlit LEDs with labels.
